A public health mapping toolkit and learning resource was launched in October 2013 at PHE’s Health People, Health Places event in London. The toolkit has been produced by Dr James Hunter and Sian Buckley in collaboration with the CIEH. It has been funded by the Environmental Health Registration Board and is supported by Public Health England.
The Public Health Mapping Toolkit is a learning tool produced by Environmental Health Practitioners for Environmental Health Practitioners but will also be of interest to anyone who wants to learn about health demographics. It is a live document that will be updated in the future.
Public Health England are supporting the promotion of public health mapping amongst EHPs and there are toolkit events planned throughout the coming year. See our events pages for information.
